GENERAL CARE
Jewellery should always be the last thing that you put on when getting ready and the first thing that you take off. This avoids tangles and unnecessary contact with the skin. Soaps, detergents and perfumes can all tarnish your beautiful jewellery.
Store your Shiny Sparkles jewellery in a closed box, or in a cotton or velvet jewellery bag. The pretty gift pouch that we provide with each piece of jewellery is perfect for this!
To keep any jewellery clean after you have just worn it, it is always best to wipe it gently with a soft cloth such as our 'Everyday Jewellery Cleaning Cloth'.
Storing multiple pieces together is not advised, so for this reason we recommend that you utilise our pretty complimentary storage pouches for each piece.
Tarnish on gold-plated and silver jewellery may also occur when the metal reacts with sulphur- a chemical found in the air, on wool and certain foods such as eggs and onions.
GOLD-PLATED
As mentioned previously, gently wipe your gold-plated jewellery using a soft cloth such as our 'Everyday Jewellery Cleaning Cloth', at the end of the day after having worn it. Pay careful attention to gold-plated charms, safety charms, etc. as they scratch and wear more easily than gold-fill jewellery.
Polish it occassionally using our Shiny Sparkles Polish Cloth (Coming Soon!) or any other gold polish cloth purchased from a jewellers.
925 STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver can tarnish over time, so wipe it gently with a soft cloth after wearing it, such as our 'Everyday Jewellery Cleaning Cloth'. If wearing it daily, polish it weekly- use our Shiny Sparkles Polish Cloth (Coming Soon!), or any other silver polish cloth purchased from a jewellers.
Avoid using a silver dip to soak your sterling silver, as the acids may actually damage it.
CRYSTAL/ ENAMEL/ BEADS/ GLASS
For crystal pendants, glass charms, beads and enamel charms please follow our 'General Care' recommendations above.
GOLD-FILLED
Unlike most fashion jewellery, our 14K gold-filled jewellery is less prone to tarnishing or discolouration over time.
Wipe it very gently with a soft cotton cloth every week. Polish it every so often using our Shiny Sparkles Polish Cloth (Coming Soon!) or any other gold polish cloth purchased from a jewellers.
SHIPPING
All orders within Australia are entitled to Free Shipping, via Australia Post domestic shipping.
All orders are usually shipped the same day or within one day at most.
There may be a delay of 2-5 business days during our peak periods.
If you are concerned that your postal address is not secure, we are able to accomodate delivery to your Australia Post Parcel Collect address (at no extra cost), or via Registered Mail (for an additional fee).

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
At this time we are not delivering internationally due to stock limitations. This service will be available later in 2024. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately, Shiny Sparkles is unable to offer Free Shipping to our stylish and valued overseas customers.
Deliveries to overseas customers may incur customs or import taxes if over a certain amount. Shiny Sparkles is not responsible for any customs or import taxes, as they are out of our control.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
We highly value your privacy. Shiny Sparkles will never sell or supply any of your information to any third party, except for the purpose of delivering your pretty jewellery to you!
PAYMENTS
At this stage, payments may be made via Credit Card and PayPal.
RETURNS
Please select very carefully and please check that you have entered the correct postal address prior to ordering.
For the health and saftey of all of our customers we have very strict policies regarding returns. If an item is returned and we believe that the seal has been tampered with, we will not be able to offer a refund.
You are welcome to return an item within 14 days if it is still in it's original, unused, unworn condition and the packaging still has it's original seal. However, please note that this does not apply to earrings, due to health reasons.
If you wish to make a return, please contact us via our 'Contact Us' page or via email. We will then send instructions for the return of your item(s). Most refunds or exchanges will be fulfilled within 14 days.
Please note that items which have been personalised or custom made (eg. made to size or any special request), may not be returned or exchanged.
Once your order has been returned to our studio it will undergo a quality assessment. If the product meets our return conditions you will be reimbursed to your original payment method, or an exchange will be processed. Gift recipients are entitled to an exchange only.
Shiny Sparkles acknowledges that certain consumer rights will apply when buying products or services in Australia, including the “consumer guarantees” provided pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms of Sale is intended to limit or otherwise exclude any such rights.
